WHAT WE DO

Living Lucid is a registered 501c3 nonprofit that uses the arts to help inspire a creative outlet for children in difficult situations. With your financial donations, as well as gifts of musical instruments, arts supplies, and other creative projects, we have been able to positively impact the lives of more than 700 children to date. Without your help, many of them may never have had the opportunity to explore creativity in an educational setting.

Living Lucid: having a light that inspires life.

We are different from other nonprofits in that we host various “Chapters” for donors to choose to participate in. Living Lucid sponsors existing foundations such as schools, children’s centers, and hospitals. As such, the operational organization varies depending on location. Our main goal is in fundraising is to benefit multiple organizations and raise global awareness towards the need for creative arts and education for children around the world, where too often it is not offered at all.

Studies have shown that music can promote productivity, creativity, math, reading, reasoning, social skills, personal development, and self-worth. It is proven that high risk students are more likely to remain in schools when arts programs have been implemented. Additionally, students who study art are 3 to 4 times more likely to excel in their academic achievements. Still, we continue to find that both locally and abroad, arts education programs are at high risk of being cut (if they even exist at all) due to budgeting and resourcing constraints.
